Settings at a glance

Settings at a glance

How Settings is organized, how to switch organizations and how changes are saved.

On this page

Settings brings together everything you can set up for yourself and, if you manage an organization or the platform, the pages you use for that. Everyone has the personal pages. Additional sections appear only for people who are allowed to use them.

Opening Settings

  1. 1

Open the profile menu (My Account).

  2. 2

    Select Settings.

Settings opens on the My account page. The section list on the left shows all pages you can open.

Sections

Section Pages Who sees it
Personal My account, Preferences, My usage, API keys, Relay, Integrations, Cloud storage Everyone; API keys only people with the API keys role; Relay only people with the Relay role when the organization has the Relay add-on; Cloud storage only people with the Cloud storage role

Platform Organizations, People, Model catalog, Cloud storage Platform administrators
  • Personal pages concern only your own account. See Personal Settings, for personal API keys API Keys and for your own Relays Relay.
  • Organization pages manage the organization you are currently working in: who belongs to it, which AI models it offers, what it costs and what happened in it. They are shown to people with the Organization admin role. See People and Groups for how this role is assigned. People with admin rights for the whole organization or for a group see only the pages of their areas, for example a group admin who sees the usage, the audit log and the Relays of their group. See Admin Rights and Group Admins.
  • Platform pages manage the organizations and accounts of the installation, the model catalog that all organizations of the installation choose from and the hourly cloud storage limits of the organizations. They are shown only to platform administrators (called “super admins” in some messages).

Sections you are not allowed to use are not shown. If you open a link to such a page, AITEZA takes you to the My account page instead.

Working in Several Organizations

Your account can belong to more than one organization. Settings always refers to the organization you are currently working in:

  • On the My account page, Your access shows this organization under Organization, together with your groups in it.
  • The My usage page shows what you used in this organization.
  • The Organization pages manage only this organization.

To work in another organization, open the profile menu, select Switch Organization and choose the organization. If you belong to several organizations, the My account page also offers Switch organization next to the organization’s name. After switching, all pages show the data of the organization you selected.

If you are an admin of several organizations and none is selected yet, the organization pages ask you to choose the organization you want to manage first.

Phones and Small Screens

On narrow screens such as phones, the section list is a screen of its own. Select a page to open it. To return to the list, use ‹ Settings at the top of the page. All pages, including the administration pages, can be used on a phone. Only the row for product tours is not shown on small screens.

Saving Changes

  • Preferences are saved as soon as you change them. A short Saved message confirms this.
  • Pages where you usually change several things at once, such as Models or Document style, have their own save button. If you try to leave with unsaved changes, AITEZA asks whether you want to discard them.
  • Actions with far-reaching consequences ask for confirmation first, for example disabling an account, removing someone from the organization, deleting a group, ending an external share, making a model unavailable or revoking an API key.
